The ACC Bookstore is just as concerned as you are about preserving our environment. To this end, there are several things we are doing at The Bookstore to help reduce our impact. 

In addition to offering Textbook Buyback periods to allow others to reuse your old books, we have bins located near the buyback station to allow you to recycle any old books you have with no buyback value.  Books placed in these bins are either recycled or donated to the American Cancer Society in support of their programs. 

Another recycling program we have is a rechargeable battery and cell phone recycling deposit box.  We can accept any Lithium Ion or Nickel Cadmium rechargeable battery, cell phone batteries and old cell phones.  (Sorry, no alkalines, please!)

Those nice white plastic bags we put all your heavy textbooks in are made of
recycled plastic, and may be recycled again!
